Become a Sponsor or Benefactor

Do you want to help our mission by becoming a sponsor or benefactor for events in the community that inspire inclusion? You can partner with the AbilityPath Auxiliary to support the mission of AbilityPath at the following events:

Actor Patrick Dempsey joins us at AbilityPath’s Power of Possibilities event in 2018 to speak about growing up with a developmental disability.

Power of Possibilities

Described as “inspirational” and “magical,” the Power of Possibilities recognition event brings together a diverse group of people with one common goal – to create a community that is friendly, thriving and inclusive. At this event, AbilityPath shines a light on how our differences are beautiful and make us unique. There is no greater joy than watching someone flourish and attain their dreams as a result of the work of AbilityPath. Previous guests have included Colin Farrell, Patrick Dempsey, Holly Robinson Peete, Lauren Potter and Steve Young.

AbilityPath Auxiliary members dressed up in festive outfits for the annual Holiday Party in 2017.

Holiday Party

Annually the AbilityPath Auxiliary holds a Holiday Party for the adults with developmental disabilities in AbilityPath programs. You can be a part of this daytime event that is filled with fun games, a delicious lunch, and even a visit from Santa.

Members enjoy a sunny day in the park at the AbilityPath Auxiliary Summer Picnic in 2018.

Summer Picnic

Each summer we plan and coordinate a summer picnic for the adult participants in AbilityPath’s programs, who have developmental disabilities. The summer picnic is an enjoyable daytime event that brings together members of different AbilityPath programs, teachers, job coaches, AbilityPath Staff, and AbilityPath Auxiliary members for games, dancing, and lunch.

Volunteers visit the Learning & Employment Campus to celebrate birthdays with a cake.

Monthly Cake Day

Each month, members of the AbilityPath Auxiliary volunteer at AbilityPath’s Learning & Employment Campus to celebrate the birthdays of individuals with developmental disabilities in the Job and Employment Training programs with a cake and singing. Assist in continuing this beautiful tradition by becoming a sponsor or benefactor of the Monthly Cake Day.
