The Auxiliary has numerous committees dedicated to supporting AbilityPath and their participants
BYLAWS COMMITTEE
Update and maintain bylaws and provisions annually or as needed
SUMMER PICNIC COMMITTEE
Plan and coordinate summer picnic for the adult participants in AbilityPath’s programs, who have developmental disabilities (Daytime event with games, dancing, and lunch)
MEMBERS PARTY COMMITTEE
Annual member cocktail party planned by Provisionals with Board assistance
BRIDGE TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE
Help plan and participate in the annual bridge tournament
NOMINATING COMMITTEE
Selects board officers for coming year
HOLIDAY PARTY COMMITTEE
Assist with the planning of our Holiday Party for the adult participants in the AbilityPath programs (Daytime event with games, lunch, and a visit from Santa)
CAKE DAY COMMITTEE
Celebrate monthly birthdays of adult participants at AbilityPath’s Learning and Employment Campus
HOSPITALITY COMMITTEE
Organize members’ monthly meetings either logistically or by providing refreshments
WEBSITE AND SOCIAL MEDIA COMMITTEE
Quarterly review of Auxiliary website. Provide suggestions for updated content. Promote member engagement with social media platforms.

Work in collaboration with AbilityPath’s executive team on a public awareness and advocacy initiative to educate and inform Californians about the importance and value of inclusion for everyone, and for critically important need for state and federal funding to maintain services for those in our communities with developmental disabilities

Our Mission
Since 1950, the AbilityPath Auxiliary has supported children and adults with special needs through the programs and services of AbilityPath. The Auxiliary strives to encourage and enhance personal growth in those we serve by providing financial support to AbilityPath and volunteering at special events.
